Arnaldo Antunes
Musician, composer and poet, Arnaldo Antunes was born in São Paulo in 1960. Aged 18 he was accepted to study literature at the University of São Paulo but did not complete his studies there. In 1983, he published his first collection of poetry, OU/E , in a limited, hand-crafted edition. He was awarded the Jabuti Prize for poetry for As coisas (1992). Now with more than twenty publications, his poetry has also been included in anthologies including Esses poetas: uma antologia dos anos 90 (1998), edited by Heloisa Buarque de Hollanda, and Antologia comentada da poesia brasileira do século 21 (2006), edited by Manuel da Costa Pinto. He appeared at Flip in 2004 alongside Francisco Alivim and Antonio Cicero.
